Google launched Blue Tick on Gmail
Google is Launches (Blue Tick) Account Verification on Gmail account
According to a foreign news agency, Google, the world's largest
Internet technology website, has started giving free blue ticks to users and
organizations on Gmail accounts and other Google brands.
Gmail calls this feature "Brand Indicators for Message
Identification" (BIMI). For this, the companies will also be requested for
their authentic logos. Companies that have already adopted BIMI will
automatically get the blue mark.
The company said in a blog post that Google has started giving blue ticks on other platforms, including Gmail and Google
Workplace, from May 3 to prevent counterfeiting.
Under the above mentioned feature, blue tick will be provided to
users of other Google brands including Gmail users around the world after
verification and this blue tick will be absolutely free.
The above feature was tested in 2021. This will also help prevent
spam email.
