If you are starting to feel bad about social media abuse, then a good advice for you is to deactivate your account for some time. If you want more peace in life, you can also delete your account.

Below we will tell you how you can deactivate or delete your Instagram account.

·        Log in to your Instagram account using a web browser on your computer or a mobile browser (you cannot deactivate or delete your account through the Instagram app).

·        Go to the Instagram website (www.instagram.com) and log in with your account credentials.

·        Once you're logged in, click on your profile picture in the top right corner to access your profile page.

·        Click on the "Edit Profile" button next to your username.

·        Scroll down on the Edit Profile page and click on the "Temporarily disable my account" or "Delete my account" link at the bottom right corner, depending on your preference.

o   If you want to temporarily disable your account, Instagram will ask you to select a reason from the drop-down menu. Choose an appropriate reason, re-enter your password, and click on the "Temporarily Disable Account" button. Your account will be deactivated, and your profile, photos, comments, and likes will be hidden until you log in again.

o   If you want to permanently delete your account, Instagram will ask you to provide a reason for deletion. Select an appropriate reason from the drop-down menu, re-enter your password, and click on the "Permanently delete my account" button. Note that once you delete your account, you cannot reactivate it, and all your profile data, photos, videos, followers, and comments will be permanently removed.

·        After you've completed the process, Instagram may prompt you with additional confirmations or instructions to ensure you want to proceed with your decision. Follow any on-screen instructions if they appear.

Remember, if you choose to temporarily disable your account, you can reactivate it by logging in again at any time. However, if you choose to delete your account, it cannot be recovered, so be cautious and ensure that you have a backup of any content you want to keep.
